Former Governor of Bayelsa State and Senator representing West Senatorial District, Senator Seriake Dickson, has commiserated with Senator Ben Murray-Bruce and the entire family over the death of their mother, Mrs. Margaret Murray-Bruce
Mrs. Margaret Murray-Bruce died on the 1st of February at 95 years and was buried on Thursday last week.
Senator Dickson who spoke during a condolence visit to Senator Murray-Bruce in his residence in Lagos, extolled the virtues of late nonagenarian who as a mother and pillar, positively touched the lives of many.
He said she lived a worthy nd exemplary life and raised her children to become influential and responsible individuals in the society.
He said, “Mama Margaret was a pillar in the family who lived a great life and raised successful children and grandchildren who have made Bayelsa and the Ijaw nation proud. She will be truly missed by all.”
Senator Dickson said it is his customary that he joined the entire Murray-Bruce family in Lagos “to pray that God grants the soul of Mrs. Margaret Murray-Bruce eternal repose and the entire family the fortitude to bear this evidently irreparable loss.”
