The Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Dr. Adedokun Abolarin, has warned political gladiators against turning State of Osun into a theatre of war.
Oba Abolarin in a telephone interview with our correspondent said the interest of the people and the development of the state should be of paramount concern to politician not parochial interest.
He advised politicians in the to guide against a repeat of what happened between the Late Sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Chief Samuel Ladoke Akintola.
Oba Abolarin, therefore warned politicians in the state against making provocative statement that is capable of igniting political crisis.
He said there can never be a meaningful development in an atmosphere of crisis.
Oba Abolarin, therefore, stressed the need for the politicians in the State to sheath swords and work for the common interest of the people of the state
According to him, let us continue to seeing ourselves as brothers irrespective of political affliations
