Arch Bishop of the Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Matthew Kukah, on Saturday said his house was not destroyed by the Muslim youths who were on the rampage over the arrest of the killers of Deborah Samuel.
Kukah debunked the viral posts on social media that his residence was set ablaze by Muslim youths in Sokoto state.
Kukah stated that his residence was not torched by the rioters. “No, they did not burn my residence,” he told TheCable.
Muslim youths on Saturday took to the streets and major roads in Sokoto over the arrest of the suspected killers of Deborah Samuel, a female student of Shehu Shagari College of Education.
Recall that Islamic fundamentalists killed Deborah over alleged blasphemy on Thursday.
