•••ARRESTED BY POLICE OVER HER DEATH
There is a raging controversy over the death of one of Nigeria’s super gospel artiste and Minister of God, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu of Ekwueme.
The gospel artiste died on Friday in an undisclosed hospital.
Until her death, the deceased musician was a leading chorister at Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja.
She is famous for her song “Ekwueme; “Nara Ekele,” a song by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja), “Ekwueme,” a song by Prospa Ochimana, and Emma’s “You no dey use me play” are just a few of her works.
Gospel song loving Nigerians went into mourning immediately the news of her death hits social media space as many Nigerians doubted the news.
The family members of the deceased are yet to react to her death.
Not long after her death hit the social media, there are strong speculations about the immediate cause Osinachi.
Prominent award wining gospel musician, Asu Ekiye, called for the immediate arrest of Osinachi’s husband who many have said was beating her.
In a post on face book titied ‘ARREST THE HUSBAND OF OSINACHI NOW,’ he says, “If what I hear about domestic abuse is anything to go by, then I hereby endorse the call for the arrest of the husband of Osinachi immediately for questioning .
He released a post from Barr Chidinma who alleged that the husband hit her in the chest and she had been on life support for five days on her death.
Many have attributed her death to cancer of the throat.
It was gathered that Osinachi Nwakchukwu had been sick for several months and she was battling cancer before she succumbed to the terminal disease.
The Network learned that Osinachi Nwachukwu had been on life-support for two months before she gave up the ghost.
Osinachi Nwachukwu has a twin sister. She is 42 years and from Imo State.
Sister Osinachi was married to one Mr Peter, who is also a minister of the Gospel. His marriage with Osinachi Nwachukwu is blessed with four children.
