FAAN Announces Pick-up Points For Go-Cashless Cards

News Investigators/ The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Friday announced designated pick-up points for its Go-Cashless cards ahead of the March 1 deadline.

FAAN disclosed this in a statement signed by its Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Henry Agbebire, in Lagos.

Mr Agbebire said members of the public could obtain the Go-Cashless cards at all FAAN commercial offices and access gates nationwide with immediate effect.

He added that the cards would also be available at designated branches of Fidelity Bank Plc from March 16.

According to him, the policy aligns with a Federal Government directive mandating all Ministries, Departments and Agencies to adopt a cashless system.

He said the transition would enhance transparency, reduce revenue leakages and improve transaction traceability across government operations.

Mr Agbebire reiterated FAAN’s commitment to full compliance and appealed for public understanding and cooperation during the transition period.

He clarified that the Go-Cashless cards would remain available at designated points after the March 1 deadline.

The authority assured airport users that the initiative would promote faster, safer and more convenient transactions at airports nationwide.
