Gunmen have killed a top Commander of the Anambra State Vigilante Group and two of his boys in the late hours of Tuesday in Igboukwu, Aguata LG Area of Anambra state.
Residents of the town said that the Vigilante group came under heavy attack by the gunmen, who ambushed their vehicle and took them unaware in the late hours of Tuesday.
This resulted in the death of a top Anambra State Vigilante group l and two of his boys.
Our Correspondent couldn’t get the Spokesman of Anambra State Police Command, Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, to comment on the attack as calls placed to his mobile telephone line did not connect.
But a source told the Network that while three operatives of the Anambra State Vigilante Group were killed in the area, he did not know the identity of the victims.
