TWO BROTHERS, 10 OTHER SUSPECTED “YAHOO YAHOO BOYS” NABBED IN ABUJA

Two brothers, Maxwell Nwanno and Kingsley Nwanno, were among the 12 suspected internet fraudsters arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday by the Abuja Zonal Command of the commission.

The other 10 suspected internet fraudsters are Owoh Chinedu, Ricaldo Francis, Thomas Pante, Chika Okoh, Okusun Destiny and Richard Anthony.

Others are Jonathan Victor, Ekulonor Emmanuel, Thompson Amieghemen and Kingsley Henry.

The Head Media and Publicity, EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, said in a statement on Tuesday, that the suspects, including two brothers, Maxwell Nwanno and Kingsley Nwanno, were arrested at different estates in Gwarimpa, Katampe and Karu, axis of Abuja.

He disclosed that their arrest was made possible by credible intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.

“Items recovered from the suspects include over 20 mobile phones of different makes, nine laptops, three luxury Mercedes Benz cars, a Toyota Avalon and Lexus 330.

“They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.” The statement reads.
