Terrorists kidnapped Plateau Commissioner’s, Wife, Daughter

Terrorists operating in Gindiri community of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State have kidnapped the wife and daughter of the Plateau State Commissioner for Environment, Usman Bamaiyi.

The Network learned that the abductors forcibly entered the residence of Bamaiyi, in the early morning of Saturday and took away his wife and daughter.

An eyewitness said Bamaiy was not around when the bandits invaded the residence.

Plateau State Police Command’s spokesperson, ASP Ubah Gabriel, confirmed the incident adding that the Plateau State Command officers are tracking the bandits.

It was gathered that Bamaiyi is contesting the 2023, House of Representatives on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Last week, residents of Plateau State, marched on the street to the Government House at the Little Rayfield in Jos to protest the continued killings by gunmen in different parts of the state.

For some time now, Plateau State has been a killing field and den of Kidnappers and ethnic wars.
