Soji Ajibola
A renowned author and academia, Prof Timothy Adedeji Awoniyi is dead.
Priof. Awoniyi died on Sunday in Ibadan after a brief illness at the age of 82.
Breaking the news of his death, one of his daughter, Mrs Kehinde Opatunji said he died after a brief illness.
She added that burial plan would be made known to the public.
He was a foremost Historian, Broadcaster and University Lecturer and a retired professor in Early Childhood Education at the University of Ibadan.
Until his death, he was the Asiwaju Agbakin of Ede.
He authored many books which include Yoruba Atata, Principle and Practice of Education tandem others.
