Over 50 Children Rescued in Underground Apartment in Ondo Church

The Police in Ondo State have confirmed the rescue of over 50 children in an underground apartment of a church building at the Valentino Area of Ondo Town , Ondo State.

The Network gathered that the children suspected to be stolen or kidnapped were kept in the underground apartment to hide them from the public.

The Spokesman person of the Ondo State Police Command, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the disturbing development but did not give details.

Odunlami said that the 50 children have been moved to the headquarters of the Ondo State Police Command, Akure.

The Network gathered that the Police have arrested a Pastor and some church members in connection with the crime.
