The Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi had won the Presidential election in Abia State.
According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday, the LP polled a total of 327,095 to defeat the closest rival, the Peoples Democratic Party, which polled 22,676 votes.
The LP also emerged winner in the election in Enugu State.
The polled 428,640 votes to defeat the ruling PDP which scored 15,749 and the APC’s 4772 votes.
The Enugu results were declared the collation officer of presidential election in Enugu State and Vice Chancellor, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Professor Maduebibisi Igwe.
In Nasarawa State, Obi, 191,361 votes in the contest with his closest rival Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, who scored 172,922 votes.
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party scored 147,093 votes.
Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, was the Independent National Electoral Commission’s collation officer for Nasarawa State, Prof. Ishaya Tanko who announced the results.
