News Investigators/ The Kaduna State Police Command says it has commenced physical and credentials screening for applicants seeking recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) from the state.
The command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Mansir Hassan, disclosed this in a press release issued on Friday in Kaduna.
Hassan said the screening exercise would take place from Feb. 9, to March 18, at the Police Officers’ Mess, Independence Way, Kaduna.
He advised applicants to visit the official recruitment portal on: https://npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their application status and print out their invitation slip for presentation at the screening venue.
According to him, applicants are required to come along with two recent passport photographs and evidence of physical and mental fitness issued by a government-recognised medical hospital.
Others include; a certificate of origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary, original and duplicate copies of National Identity Card or NIN slip, and original and duplicate copies of O’Level results.
Also required are birth certificate or declaration of age, printout of the application form, duly completed guarantor’s form and invitation slip.
Hassan said the approved dress code for the screening exercise is white shirt, white shorts, white canvas and white socks.
He advised applicants to remain orderly and strictly comply with the guidelines throughout the exercise.
The police spokesman warned that impersonation, forgery or presentation of fake documents would lead to immediate disqualification and possible prosecution.
He also urged members of the public to disregard individuals or groups demanding payment in connection with the recruitment process, insisting that “the exercise is free-of-charge”.
