The immediate-past Secretary of Nigeria State chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna State Council, John Femi Adi, has agreed to donate one of his kidneys of Miss Sonia Ekweremadu.
Adi, a former Correspondent of Thenews, Tempo and PMNEWS, in Kaduna State, made his intention public on his Facebook page on Friday morning.
He said that he was being motivated to donate the kidney in consonance with the commandment God that people should love their neighbours as themselves.
“I, Comrade John Femi Adi, a Kaduna-based journalist and farmer hereby announce my ‘agape’ decision to donate one of my kidneys to Senator Ekweremadu’s beautiful daughter.
“I am doing this on God’s order in the Holy Bible to Love our neighbours as ourselves .

The daughter of former Deputy Senate President, Sonia Ekweremadu, had released a deeply emotional statement on Monday where she appealed to Nigerians for a desperate assistance for survival.
In the statement released on her Instagram page on Monday, Sonia Ekweremadu traced the story of her predicament and begged public spirited kidney donors to come to her rescue.
In the distressing appeal, promised to devote her life to helping people if succor comes her way.
