Gunmen have kidnapped two persons at the Mbape community in the Federal Capital Territory.
The Network gathered that six gunmen stormed the community around 1am on Sunday to carry out the nefarious act.
But the Spokesperson of the FCT command. SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the incident said that the victims had been recused by the police.
Adeh who said that efforts are being made to arrest the hoodlums added that the rescued victims would be reunited with their loved ones.
“There was a swift response from our men from Mpape and the command tactical team.
“They mounted pressure on the criminals which forced them to leave behind the victims. They would soon be reunited with their family members. We are also on the trail of the suspects.” She said
