Gunmen have kidnapped the Prelate of the Methodist Church in Nigeria, His Eminence Samuel Uche, along the Enugu/ Port Harcourt Road.
Also abducted alongside the Prelate are the Bishop of the Owerri Diocese of the Methodist Church, and the Prelate’s chaplain.
The Network gathered that the three clerics were kidnapped between Nkwoagu/Leru Isuochi along the Enugu/Port Harcourt High Way.
The Special Assistant, Media to the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Bayo Oladeji, called for prayers for the abducted prelate in a post on his Facebook page.
“The incident occurred when the Cleric was a nationwide farewell tour.

“Brethren, intercede for this great Servant of God.” He said
No official statement has been issued by the Church on the ugly development.
