Former Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, has died at the age of 79.
Egbeyemi died at the early hours of Saturday of March 18, at Multisystem Hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
He was immediate past Deputy Governor, between 2018 and 2022, but died after a brief illness.
The late politician, Egbeyemi was last seen on February 25, when he voted in the presidential and National Assembly elections.
Egbeyemi, a native of Ado-Ekiti, was born on 8th of May, 1944.
He was a lawyer, and served as Chairman, Ado Ekiti Local Government Area, between, 1992-93 and later, Deputy to Governor Kayode Fayemi, from 2018 to 2022.
His close associates confirm his death stating that he died on Saturday, morning.
