BREAKING: Kenya Supreme Court Upholds Presidential Election Result

By Kamsi Anayo

The Supreme Court in Kenya, on Monday morning, affirmed the victory of William Ruto in the country’s presidential election.

The apex court in its unanimous judgment delivered by the Chief Justice, Martha Koome, dismissed the petition by opposition leader, Raila Odinga, against Ruto’s electoral victory.

The Chief Justice held that the petitioners were not able to prove that the winner didn’t get the 50%+1 threshold needed to be declared winner.
