Justice Faroukh Ibrahim Umar, of a Kano Magistrate court on Tuesday, sentenced the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Yautar ward, Aminu Ali, to two years imprisonment for unlawful possession of 367 permanent voters cards (PVCs) bearing different names.
Kano State Police Command arrested Ali in October for collecting PVCs from different people in Gabasawa Local Government Area of the state.

Meanwhile, the magistrate, while convicting the convict, granted him an option of N500,000, fine for the first offence.
