2023: LP Dismisses Claims Of Resignation Of National Chairman

By Kamsi Anayo

The Labour Party (LP) has dismissed rumours of the resignation of its National Chairman, Julius Abure.

There were claims on Wednesday that Abure has resigned as LP’s National Chairman.

Abure was said to have alleged that the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi cannot win in 2023.

The party in a quick response to the rumours tweeted that there is no iota of truth in the report.

LP however blamed the opposition for such lies, adding that Abure has not dumped Obi.

“Please disregard the news going around that our National Chairman has resigned and dumped Peter Obi.

It is a lie from the opposition. We are set to take back Nigeria come 2023.
