…PLEDGE TO WORK TOGETHER
The South East presidential aspirants under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, on Sunday, commended well-meaning Nigerians campaigning for the presidency of the South-East extraction.
The body in its meeting held on Sunday at the residence of Senator Rochas Okorocha under the Chairmanship of His Excellency, Ogbonnaya Onu, agreed that any aspirant of the Igbo extraction who emerges as the presidential flagbearer of the APC, will recieve the support of the others.
The aspirants reiterated their avowed commitment towards realising the aspiration of the South-East to produce the president in the next year’s general elections.
They used the occssion to commend all Nigerians committed to the Nigerian project by their whole hearted support for the aspiration of the south east to produce the next Nigerian president in 2023.
The communiqué was signed by the aspirants: former Minister, Science and Technology, H.E Ogbonnaya Onu, Chief Molukwu, former Senate President, His Excellency, Sen. Ken. Nnamani, Barr Mrs Uju Ken Ohanenye, His Excellency Dave Umahi, Governor of Ebonyi State, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, former Minister for State, Education and His Excellency, Sen. Rochas Okorocha.
“At its review meeting held today the 22” of May, 2022 at the residence of Senator Rochas Okorocha, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Ogbonniya Onu, the Aspirants agree to make the following statements;
“That the President of the federal republic of Nigeria and the All Progressive Congress and Its National Working Committee as well the teaming members of the party are commended by the entire people of the southeast on their avowed commitment to the unity of Nigeria and the inclusion of all parts of Nigeria In the governance architecture of the country.
“That we commend all Nigerians who are committed to the Nigerian project by the whole hearted support of the aspiration of the south east to produce the next Nigerian president in 2023.
“That in furtherance of these commitment all aspirants here commits to align with any of the south east aspirants that is accepted by and chosen by other Nigerians to fly the APC flag.” The communique reads
