2 Kano Lawmakers Die In Quick Succession

News Investigators/ Tragedy on Wednesday struck the Kano State House of Assembly when two serving lawmakers were reported dead within minutes between each other.

The lawmaker representing Kano Municipal Local Government Area, Sarki  Daneji, died barely minutes after the news broke of the death of his colleague, Hon. Aminu Sa’adu, who represented Ungoggo Local Government Area.

The deaths sent shockwaves across the state’s political circle, given the close timing of the incidents and the prominence of the two legislators in the Kano State House of Assembly.

The confirmation of the death of Sarki Aliyu Daneji was made public by Sanusi Bature, spokesperson of Kano State Governor, who announced it via a post on his official Facebook page.
