About 11 people have diedd in an auto crash along the Benin-Shagamu Express Way at Ore, Ondo State on Sunday morning.
The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr Ezekiel Son’Allah, who confirmed the incident, attributed it to overspeeding on the part of the affected vehicles.
The Network gathered that the accident involved a Marcopolo bus and a truck.
The source said that the victims were burnt beyond recognition as the two vehicles caught fire as a result of the impact of the collision
It was further stated that the driver of the truck was driving against the traffic and ran into the bus which was coming from Benin.
“The trailer was driving against the traffic and in the process collided with the Marcopollo bus which is coming Benin road and it caught fire.” The source said
