TINUBU PICKS FORMER BORNO GOV KASHIM SHETTIMA AS RUNNING MATE

After weeks of intensive consultations and search for a credible running mate, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate for the 2023 polls, Bola Tinubu has on Sunday, finally settled for Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

It was gathered that Tinubu visited President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the leader of the party in his hometown in Daura, Katsina State on Sunday to present Shettima to him.

President Buhari is visiting Daura since Friday for the Eid-el Kabir celebration.

The Network gathered that Shettima worked had for Tinubu’s victory at the APC primary.

Shettima is a Senator representating Borno Central Senatorial District, and a former two-term Governor of Borno State.
