TINUBU APPOINTS AKUME AS SGF, CONFIRMS GBAJABIAMILA AS CHIEF Of STAFF, SEN. IBRAHIM HADEJIA, DCOS

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Friday,  appointed the former Governor of Benue State, George Akume, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

Also appointed on Friday is Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, as Deputy Chief of Staff.

The President also officially, confirmed the appointment of the Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff.

George Akume, was immediate past Minister of Special Duties.

The Director of Information, State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye, confirmed the appointment in a statement on Friday.

He said that the the President announced Akume’s appointment during a meeting with Progressives Governors Forum of the All Progressives Congress, on Friday, in Abuja.
