Supreme Court Adjourns Naira Redesign Case To March 3

0

The Supreme Court has adjourned the case filed by some  state governments against the Federal Government challenging the implementation of the Naira redesign policy to March 3.

The apex court also refused to discuss the contempt suit against the Attorney General of the Federation, Malami and Central Bank of Nigeria Governor by the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El Rufai.

The court explained that when it gets to that bridge, it would attend to the case.

The Supreme court was unable to give any ruling on the subject matter of validity of the 500 and 1000 old notes before adjourning  the case to March 3 for judgement.
