The Chairman of Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Oyegun, has said that former President Goodluck Jonathan was not among the 23 presidential aspirants who presented themselves for Screening before the committee.
Oyegun said that the Committee did not screen the former President contrary to speculations.
Oyegun a former APC National Chairman who undertook the task of heading the committee made the comment while speaking with journalists shortly after presenting the committee’s report in Abuja on Friday.
The Oyegun Committee which screened the 23 aspirants jostling for the APC Presidential ticket disqualified ten aspirants but declined to name them.
Oyegun was reacting to widespread speculations that Jonathan was among the frontline aspirants for the APC presidential ticket.
