The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of a kidnappers’ camp in Ikorodu area of the state on Friday.
The Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident stating that arms and ammunition were recovered at the scene.
He explained further that the victims were receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
It was learned that the operatives of the Command on sting operation invaded the camp on Thursday night and the hoodlums opened fire on the operatives.
According to police, during the gun duel, one of the criminals was shot to death while three kidnap victims were rescued in the operation.
