The Lagos State Police Command has
announced completion of the autopsy of late artiste , Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.
The police command said in a short statement on its official twitter handle on Thursday that it will readily make further information available to the public as they come.
“The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr. Mohbad has been successfully completed. Further information will be provided as soon as the results are available.” The statement read
The State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, had earlier said the body of the late singer had been exhumed for autopsy.
The death of the singer had triggered widespread outrage among the youths who accuse the Marlian Record Label’s owner, Afeez Fashola, professionally known as Naira Marley and one Sam Larry for his death .
Although both Naira Marley and Sam Larry have denied the accusations, and have demanded investigations into his death, some radio stations have banned the Marlian music in their stations amidst escalating protests .
