The founder of Maka Odimma Ndigbo, Nze Kanayo Chukwumezie, on Saturday , urged progressive people in Nigeria to support the presidential bid of Mr Peter Obi.
Mr Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, is the candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 presidential election.
Chukwumezie in Awka, described Mr Obi’s bid as ‘a national revolution’.
He said, “It is a fight between the oppressed and the oppressors; between light and darkness; between development and underdevelopment; between moving forward and sliding backwards.
“Nigeria misses this and continues with the vicious circle. This is the fulfillment of what #Ensars tried to fulfil.
“But many vagabonds are picking tickets in Labour Party and that is a clog on the wheel which must be addressed because all arms of government need people with the principles of Mr Peter Obi or there will be many ambushes that will clog the wheel.
“Nevertheless I am thrilled that the youths have woken up and determined to change the ugly narrative that has been playing out for over 50 years.
