PDP RELEASES LIST OF 17 PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS TO BE SCREENED TODAY

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday released a list of 17 aspirants to be screened for it’s forthcoming presidential primaries today 29th of April, 2022.

The opposition party, had said Thursday said it had adjusted the party’s timetable for the 2023 general elections after due considerations.

The sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms including the submission of the completed forms ended on Friday April 22 and Monday, April 25, 2022, respectively.

The National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, said Friday, 29, is for the screening of Presidential aspirants, while all appeals on screening would be entertained on Monday, May 2, 2022.

The PDP urged all aspirants, critical stakeholders and party members to be guided accordingly.

The statement partly read, “Under the updated timetable, the 3-man Ad Hoc Ward Congress has been fixed for Saturday, April 30, 2022, while the Local Government Area National Delegates Congresses will now hold on Thursday, May 5, 2022

“All dates for primary election into various positions remain the same.

“Please note that all duly completed State Assembly Forms are to be submitted at the various States Secretariat of the Party”.
