The Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the Birnin Kebbi/Kalgo/Bunza Federal Constituency Mr. Abba Bello Haliru, has died.
Hon Abba Bello is said to be the first son of Dr Bello Haliru, former National Chairman of PDP.
His death was confirmed to the media
by the PDP Governorship Campaign Council Director-General, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu.
Shehu confirmed that Reps Candidate died after a brief illness in Abuja.
The late Abba Haliru-Bello defeated the incumbent House of Representatives member, Bello Relisco, in the party’s primary last year to emerge candidate.
The Network gathered that he would be buried in Abuja on Saturday.
This is coming barely 24 hours after PDP candidate for Pengana Constituency in Plateau State House of Assembly, Mathew Akawu
died.
Akawu was said to have died in a hospital in Jos on Friday morning after a brief illness.
The Candidate, a former school principal was said to have passed on a few hours after attending a traditional festival in his Bassa Local Government Area of the state.
