OSUN 2022: APC CHAIRMAN INAUGURATES NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL FOR OSUN ELECTION

…SAYS APC WILL DO EVERYTHING UNDER THE LAW TO RETAIN POWER

The National chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abudullahi Adamu, on Thursday inaugurated the National Campaign Council for the forth coming Osun State Governorship election in July.

Adamu, while inaugurating the team tasked them to go all out and win the election adding that the plan to win and  the ability to execute the plan were with the leadership.

He disclosed that the Council was going to provide the plan in the campaign efforts.

He urged them to leave no stone unturned in making sure that the party performed creditable well in the election.

According to the APC chairman, the campaign council should go out there and do whatever is “doable” within the laws of Nigeria and the electoral laws to win.

He reminded the council that the national working committee under his leadership has zero tolerance for failure.

“Most of you have been statesmen in your own right, the offices you held before today, but for this exercise take off the big gowns, take off the creepy suits you wear  and go down the trench and bring that victory we want.

“Nobody should come back to us crying, failure is not our own by the grace of God.

“Whatever it takes within the laws of the land, i said go for it, win the election.

“Let them go and complain, let them go  wherever, let’s win the election, we have no apologies whatsoever for this posture because these two elections are forebodes to the national election coming up in 2023.

“It will go in our credentials that we have the winning track record; this National Working Committee that you elected we have a commitment.

“What we mean by the commitment is the 2023 general election facing us. We have to face it squarely.” Adamu boasted.

He said there’s no option to wining the general election adding that the two state elections are critical to the national election in 2023.

“We must show those who love us by showing those who are our adversaries in the strongest possible way that we are in control.

“No apologize to anybody, we are the party of government, we are the party ruling the country today, no apologize for anybody.

“The reality is Nigerians chose APC and we’ll do everything we can to retain this position of envy.

“Now, we have determined as a party, who will be our flag bearer in the forthcoming presidential election in 2023.” He added.

He reminded the Committee of the victory achieved in Ekiti Governorship election last week stating that next huddle to confront with all vigor is the forth coming Osun  governorship election.

“We are here to inaugurate the national campaign council of the forth coming Osun state governorship election.

“You will recall that just about a week ago, we faced the challenge that was posed by the governorship election of  Ekiti state and with God’s own grace, we were able to scale the hurdle with flying colors.

Referring to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP governorship candidate, Adamu tasked the campaign council to ensure that he is defeated in the election.

“So we must be prepared to face him eyeball to eyeball. There is no sparing him for any reason whatsoever, no sparing his party the PDP. We are going there to win by the grace of God.

According to him, to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinibu as the Presidential Candidate of the APC, winning the Osun State Governorship election is the first step victory to winning the 2023 presidential election.

“We have Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinibu as our presidential candidate and you all know that.

“Know that these elections are first steps, we are taking towards victory in 2023. We must not play with this, we start preparing for these now..

“We are winning the battle of the states, but the real war to be won is  the presidential election in 2023.” He said.
