OBIDIENTS DISGRACE LP FACTIONAL LEADER, LAMIDI APAPA OUT OF COURT

The supporters of Obi-Datti, campaign movement on Wednesday, disgraced and booed the controversial factional leader of the Labour Party, Lamidi Apapa, out of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Labour Party supporters had earlier before proceedings in the court, on sighting Apapa dragging seat with Professor Akin Osuntokun over a reserved place meant for litigants and started calling him “Ole” referring him as “thief.”

A viral video on the social media showed Apapa being booed and disgraced out of the tribunal by LP supporters. 

The video showed shouts of “Ole” (thief), “We don’t know you!”, “Nobody knows this man!”, being jeered at Apapa as he was being dragged out by security agents, while  photo journalists  feasted on the incident.

It was gathered that the supporters perceived Apapa as an agent of the opposition, being paid to work against the petition filed by the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Mr Peter Obi and his party, LP.

The party was in court against the disputed presidential election of February 25, which the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
