The Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has won the Presidential election in Delta State.
According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, Obi polled 341,866 to defeat the Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, his closest rival who scored 161,600 votes.
The running mate to the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate, is the incumbent governor of Delta State Ifeanyi Okowa
The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu scored 90,183 to occupy third place in the state.
