Serious political meetings ahead of the 2023 general elections are holding outside the country in the United Kingdom.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday, held closed door meeting with the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi; and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, in London.
While details of the meeting were not revealed to journalists, there were strong indications that the meeting focused on the 2022 general elections
It was gathered that the meeting held outside Nigeria was part of the process of negotiation for the 2023 elections.
The roll call at the meeting also include Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State; Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue State; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke, among other allies of the Rivers Governor.
