Ajaero was a sole candidate for the office of the NLC president

The former General Secretary of the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) May have drawn from years of consistency in promoting the interest and welfare of workers in the country.

Wabba who was first elected in 2015 and  re-elected in 2019 for his second term  completed his tenure on February 7 at the 13th quadrennial national delegates conference in Abuja

In his own submission, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, noted that President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration was committed to improving the minimum wage of workers to boost productivity.

Mustapha, the special guest of honour at the conference, said the Federal Government was concerned about improving the welfare of public service, noting that the edifice was a delight for the NLC as well as its workers.

All the noticeable achievements and legacies, Mustapha noted, are for the Nigerian masses, even as he lauded the ex-NLC President, Wabba for constructing such edifice that would yield additional income to the Congress.
