NIGERIA’S NEXT PRESIDENT MUST COME FROM SOUTH WEST -ASPIRANTS

The Presidential aspirants from the South West geopolitical zone have taken a common position that the next President of the country must come from the zone.

The aspirants adopted the united front during a meeting of all the aspirants from the zone at the Lagos House, Marina

The aspirants were unanimous in their resolve to ensure that the zone produced the President in 2023.

The Network gathered that the meeting held at the instance of a former governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande and former Ogun State governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba.

In attendance at the meeting were Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; a Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila snd others.

Also in attendance were Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Kayode Fayemi, Dapo Abiodun, Rotimi Akeredolu and Gboyega Oyetola.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; Minister of Trade and Industry, Otunba Niyi Adebayo are part of the meeting
