The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi on Wednesday met the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike behind closed-door.
The Network gathered that the meeting took place at Rivers State Government House.
The outcome of the meeting was not immediately made known to the public by the two politicians who simply took photographs now trending on social media.
Both were seen in the pictures showing exchanging handshakes.
It was gathered that the meeting was part of Obi’s ongoing consultations towards building stronger ties and alliance with his Labour Party and Wike.
Recall that Wike lost to Atiku in the PDP primary and was dumped by Atiku who refused to pick him as his vice-presidential candidate.
Also, Obi has been talking with Kano politician Rabiu Kwankwaso about a possible merger of NNPP and Labour.
But the talks are yet to translate to a real alliance.
