Unknown gunmen have invaded the venue of the Labour Party (LP) meeting in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State and disrupted proceedings on Sunday.
According to eyewitness, over 36 bandits, who were armed with machetes and guns stormed the venue of the meeting and attacked participants with guns and other dangerous weapons.
The witness said many people were attacked adding that many of them sustained injuries when the bandits opened fire on the unsuspecting party members.
A female party faithful escaped death after the bandits fired directly to her car as she was recieving a phone call inside her car.
