The Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, has relocated the office of the embattled Deputy Governor, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan to the Ministry of Works and Transport.
Olaniyan formerly shared the same complex with the Governor before the latest development.
The embattled Deputy Governor, has been operating from his personal office in the past seven months.
It will be recalled that the Deputy Governor has officially announced his exit from the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).
He accused Makinde of marginalizing his office, hence his decision to leave the party.
This development has forced Makinde to drop him as running mate in 2023.
Makinde has approved the appointment of a Kishi born politician, Bayo Lawal, as his running mate.
