Celebrity actress, Ireti Doyle has divorced has husband, Patrick Doyle, a popular move producer and actor.
She told a popular TV presenter, Chude Jideonwo, that she and her husband who got married in 2004 are now officially divorced.
The marriage produced six children but they lost a child to sickle cell.
“We are officially divorced.” She said
Although issues about the marriage had been in the news, the couple had kept the fact out of the reach of the public.
Ireti had moved out of the husbands house in 2017.
She gave the impression that she married too early saying she had no business getting married as a teenager.
The actress who clarified the impression that she had her first child at 17 said she became a mother at 19 but had no business with marriage at the time.
When you’re an adult, it’s not a life and death situation…there are some situations that are way beyond your control.
The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time… let’s not even go to the choice of who I got married to.”
She also shared a accompanying clip on her Instagram page saying “There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. In this age where everything one says is scrutinised and quartered; it takes a certain level of trust to bare intimate details .. we are here now,”
