Insecurity: YPP House of Reps Candidate Commends Sen. Ubah’s N500m intervention pledge for Anambra

By Kamsi Anayo, Awka

Barr Johnmary Akachukwu Maduakolam, Young Progressives Party (YPP) Candidate for Ihiala Federal Constituency in 2023 National Assembly elections, has applauded its national leader, Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, for his support in the fight against insecurity in Anambra state.

The Anambra based lawyer who was commenting on the M500m worth of security gadgets pledge made by Ubah to the state governor Prof.Charles Soludo, noted that it was a commendable move.

He said that insecurity in the country is of grave concern as kidnapping is on the rise, a situation which he said has made it incumbent on the stakesholders to collaborate to tackle the scourge.

He said that the intervention of the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial district has again demonstrated that the YPP is a responsible and responsive party ready to make the state work.

“Distinguished Sen. Ubah has pledged over N500m worth of security gadgets and other ancillaries to support the security and developmental welfare of Anambra state.

“That is the spirit in the party. We are passionately committed to making our environment work which of course cannot be achieved without adequate security.

“We cannot pretend that all is well with Ihiala Federal Constituency, that is why we have come up with CLEAN Ihiala project, a model that will ensure that the area bounces back to life and compete favourably with her peers.

“The present day leadership in Ihiala has departed from the rule of law, where law controls both the government and the governed. We are in the House of Representatives race to bid farewell to such political tradition.” He stated

The Anambra based lawyer said that the only way to say no to the recent economic situation, poor roads, lack of electricity and other social maladies in Ihiala Federal Constituency is by sending him to the lower chamber of the National Assembly come 2023.
