Ahead of February 25, general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has released the list of the 240 Polling Units across the country with no registered voters and where voting will not take place on 25th February.
The Presidential and National Assembly Elections will hold on February 25, and governorship and House of Assembly elections on 11th March 2023.
Recall that the INEC with less than 12 days to the general elections, said election will not hold in 240 polling units.
The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu stated this at a meeting with leaders of political parties on Monday.
The electoral body hinged its reason to spate of insecurity and others stating that nobody opted to vote in those units.
On Tuesday, the INEC released the list of the affected areas.
