INEC Begins Media Accreditation For Anambra Governorship Election

News Investigators/ The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has commenced online accreditation for journalists and media organisations intending to cover the Nov. 8 Anambra governorship election.

INEC disclosed this in a statement by the Secretary to the Commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, on Monday in Abuja.

Mrs Oriaran-Anthony called on interested media organisations wishing to deploy journalists for the coverage of the election to apply via https://imap.inecnigeria.org portal, adding that the portal which  opened on Monday (Today) would close on Oct 24.

She added that late submission would not be entertained as the portal would shut down automatically at 12 midnight of Oct. 24.
