News Investigators/ Nentawe Yilwatda, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, has been elected as the national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
His emergence was formally announced on Thursday during the national executive council (NEC) meeting of the APC at the State House ,Abuja.
Prof. Yilwatda wa adopted as a “consensus decision” by the NEC.
He succeeds Abdullahi Ganduje, who officially stepped down as chairman on June 27.
The meeting had in attendance President Bola Tinubu, the Progressives Governors Form (PGF) and top party officials.
