The violence which is threatening the political atmosphere in Ebonyi State, has continued to take a bloody dimension as gunmen have reportedly killed two members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the Ebonyi State.
The attackers, riding on motorcycles stormed the venue of the APC Meeting in Mkpuma Akataka community, Izzi Local Government Area on Friday evening, gunned down the party members and zoomed off immediately
Apart from the two fatalities, sources said two other persons sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, the state capital.
When contacted, the Police spokesperson in Ebonyi State, Chris Anyanwu, said: “I don’t know about that.”
