DECLARES ‘SIT- AT- HOME’ FOR THOSE WHO WILL NOT VOTE FOR APC

Chairman of Lagos State Park and Garage Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, on Thursday, warned Lagos electorates to stay at home on March 18, if they would not vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC), governorship and House of Assembly candidates.

MC Oluomo in a viral video, he shared on social media, was particularly referring to the Igbos living in Lagos State.

Oluomo, who spoke in Pidgin English, said; “We have begged them, it is not a fight if they did not vote for us. Iya Chukwudi, if you no wan vote for us, please sit down for home oo. We don’t want your vote.”

Oluomo was apparently reacting ahead of the governorship election based on the Labour Party’s victory over the APC in the February 25 presidential and National Assembly elections, in which the presidential candidate of LP, Peter Obi, defeated Bola Tinubu, known to be a strongman in Lagos politics, with scored more votes.

As of press time, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had not reacted to MC Oluomo’s threat.
