News Investigators/ The National Coordinator, Federal Workers Forum (FWF), Andrew Emelieze, on Thursday, collapsedĀ during arraignment at the Federal High Court in Ibadan
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Emelieze, who has been in the forefront of agitating for workers welfare and payment of unpaid arrears of N35,000 wage awage and other demands from the Federal Government, is being prosecuted by the Department of State Services (DSS).
He was arrested by the DSS on July 3 and later released on administrative bail on July 17.
Mr Emelieze was brought to the court by the DSS on a four-count-charge of alleged injurious statement against the Federal Government, threat to protest at Aso Rock and declining DSS invitation.
The defendant, however, collapsed in the dock before the reading of the charge sheet.
Justice Nkeonye Maha immediately temporarily suspended proceedings to allow the defendant to be revived.
