EFCC arrests Ogun State speaker

The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has arrested Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo.

He was apprehended on Thursday morning by the Lagos State Command of the EFCC over allegations bordering on financial crimes.

Olakunle Oluomo, was allegedly arrested
at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, by operatives following a tip off and have been moved to the 15 Awolowo Road Ikoyi office of the anti graft agency.

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, had in the past invited by the Commission but failed to honour his invitations on the promptings of the State Governor.

The Head, Media and Publicity of the EFCC is yet to respond following a request by NETWORK….
