The Nigerian reigning Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, Known as Davido, on Tuesday, celebrated the final judgement of the Supreme Court, on the disputed Osun State governorship election by affirming his uncle, Ademola Adeleke as the authentic Osun state governor.
Davido, while reacting to the verdict of the court, mocked the opposition party with a line from ‘Over Dem’, a track in his latest album, “Timeless” and tweeted, “We go dey shock them like high-tension’.
Recall that on Tuesday, the Nation’s apex Court, affirmed Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, as the authentic elected Governor of Osun State.
The Supreme Court, in its lead judgement, delivered by Justice Emmanuel Agim, dismissed an appeal that was lodged against Adeleke’s election victory by the former governor of the state, Adegboyega Oyetola, who was the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
